I just got off the phone with an adjuster.
She told me that they don't pay for high remove because "a shingle will fall off the roof just as easy on a single story as it does on a 2nd story."
They don't pay for steep remove unless you "take a picture of the guys wearing safety gear on the tear off".
So in my opinion both are to do with safety, it's just what makes a difference to them on their bottom line.
I honestly was thinking they needed to add a line item for additional safety items.
When will this stop? When will they squeeze enough where you can't put a roof on?
